In this case study, you will learn about the process required to develop a working UCIe interface featured in a Cadence IP test package. We’ll discuss the UCIe interface specification and what is required of design and analysis tools to help design teams efficiently meet the specification, then walk through the steps utilized to integrate chiplets with UCIe PHYs into various package types, including a standard organic package and an advanced package including a silicon interposer. We’ll conclude with a live demonstration showing how Cadence tools are used to create an industry-compliant UCIe interface.
